The College Arts + Humanities Institute presents a Meet the Author event with Justin Garcia, Senior Scientist and Executive Director from the Kinsey Institute. In The Intimate Animal, Garcia “offers a wide-ranging look at how intimacy evolved and why it remains central to the human experience.”
The College Arts + Humanities Institute is delighted to present a “Meet the Author” talk by Samrat Upadhyay (Professor of Creative Writing at IU Bloomington) in conversation with Sara Gregg (Associate Professor of History at IU Bloomington), about his recent novel, Darkmotherland, a dystopian reimagining of Nepal.
The College Arts + Humanities Institute is delighted to present a Meet the Author event with Kate Abramson, Mahlon-Powell Professor of Philosophy at Indiana University Bloomington. Abramson will provide a brief insight into her 2024 book, On Gaslighting (Insights: Philosophy in Focus), before being joined by Brenda Weber, Provost Professor of Gender Studies, for an interview-style conversation. The talk will be followed by an audience Q&A and reception.
