Graduate Capstone Research Awards

CAHI offers awards of up to $2,000 for research travel, materials and other assistance to help graduate students further their research and creative activity agendas.

Graduate Conference Travel Awards

The CAHI Graduate Conference Travel Award supports IU Ph.D. or M.F.A. students in the arts and humanities traveling to professional conferences at which the student is presenting a research paper.

College of Arts + Sciences Fellowships and Awards

The College Graduate Office administers several fellowships and awards for continuing graduate students.

The Graduate School Fellowships and Awards

The Graduate School has an index of many fellowships and awards for new and continuing graduate students.

Graduate and Professional Student Government Research Awards

A flat award of $1,000 is given to help support research expenses incurred in connection with academic research, such as travel costs related to field, archival or laboratories research, payment for research related services, and purchase of research related supplies.

Graduate and Professional Student Government Travel Awards

A flat award of $500 is given to help support travel expenses to conferences at which the student's work will be presented (i.e. speeches, posters or interactive design), or to help support travel to workshops, special trainings, competitions and auditions that will benefit the student professionally.

International Enhancement Grants

International enhancement grants, administered by the IU Office of the Vice President for International Affairs, support IU students pursuing academic training which adds or enhances an international component of their graduate degree program.

Exchange Opportunities for Graduate Research and Study

Indiana University offers exchange opportunities with top international universities for graduate students enrolled on any IU campus. The majority of these programs are intended to support independent research by connecting the participating students with resources and mentors at the partner university. In some cases, participants may be able to enroll in or audit courses.
